Teen Mom 3 Star Matt McCann Lines Up a Full-Time Job — With Benefits!

The time has come to check in on everyone's favorite ginger (and his chin-strap): Teen Mom 3's Matt McCann. Fans of MTV have watched Matt transform from a drug-addled moth to a beautiful sober butterfly, but his transition hasn't been easy. Not only was Alexandria Sekella’s baby daddy homeless for a while, he accidentally fell down a cliff and broke all his bones a while back. Yikes!

Fortunately, Matt met the love of his life, Lekota Koch, a few months ago, and this gorgeous gal has helped her man get his life back on track. Thanks to Lekota's non-stop support, Matt has managed to stay sober, reunite with his daughter, Arabella, and even get back into the workforce!

Matt's career journey has been a huge pain, but was definitely worth the agro. "Im not just sitting here doing nothing. Im working on getting my SS card, I just got my birth certificate," Matt tweeted back in July, adding "I need both for an ID so then I can hopefully get a job so that I can support myself, my gf and my daughter."

Now that Matt has all his paperwork in order, he's been able to actively pursue jobs. The dude's been working super-late hours to support his family, but it looks like he's taking things up a notch with an even better gig! "Guess who got a pretty decent paying fulltime job with benefits?!" Matt tweeted on March 1. "This guy!!!"

Matt didn't elaborate on the details of his job, but we can only assume he's a Professional Facial Hair Grower. Congratulations are definitely in order!

Alexandria Sekella Starts Co Parenting Classes With Matt McCann

Teen Mom 3 star Alexandria Sekella's life has turned upside down and it's all thanks to her baby daddy, the chin-strapped heart throb known as Matt McCann. Thanks to hardcore drug addiction plus this one really unfortunate time that he fell off a cliff, Matt hasn't exactly been there for Alex. He dropped out of her life shortly after their drama-filled breakup, and until recently he hadn't seen his daughter, Arabella, for a year.

The good news? Matt's sobered up and has a new zest for daddyhood, and he just filed for visitation. This dude gets to see Bellie once a week and every other weekend, and there's nothing Alex can do about it — despite the fact that she's more than a little upset about Matt suddenly taking an interest in their daughter's life.

Now that Matt's in the picture, he and Alex will have to work together to raise their little girl — and you know what that means! Time to co-parent like there's no tomorrow. Alex has officially started co-parenting education classes (COPE), and unfortunately she seems less than thrilled about the experience. "Well let's get this over with COPE," Alex posted to Instagram.

See? Not exactly happy to be there. But at least Alex is trying to give the class a positive spin — she wore bright purple sequined Uggs to lift her spirits!

Alexandria Sekella Reacts to Matt McCann's Drug Overdose: "It Was Bound to Happen"

This week's episode of Teen Mom 3 ended on a hugely dramatic note. Alexandria Sekella received an upsetting phone call from Matt McCann's friend, who informed her that Matt was rushed to hospital after an apparent drug overdose. Alex's reaction was somewhat surprising. She calmly processed the information and maintained her composure instead of breaking down crying. So, how does Alex explain her unusual response to the news?

"I was a lot more calm about it, and kind of like, 'This is what happens … this was bound to happen at some point in time, and there's nothing I can do about it,'" she told Maci Bookout during the Teen Mom 3 after show. "I just took it one step at a time, and was mentally preparing for what type of news to get."

Sadly, Matt could have avoided this overdose had he accepted residence at a sober living house. As you might expect, Alex was less than impressed by Matt's decision to ditch the opportunity. "What an idiot," she said. "That was his chance of redemption and getting his life together, and he threw it out the window."

Despite the fact that Alex was worried about Matt after he left her mother's house and ventured out on his own, she knew she had to take care of her family and let Matt make his own mistakes. "I was a little bit nervous about what he was getting himself into, but in the back of my mind I kept thinking, 'I'm a mom and I have to make Arabella my priority,'" she explained. "He's a big boy, and he can fix his own problems."

Alexandria Sekella's Baby Daddy Claims He Was Illegally Removed From Arabella's Birth Certificate!

Things are heating up between Teen Mom 3's Matt McCann and Alexandria Sekella — and we don't mean in a sexy way. Despite being largely absent from his daughter's life for the past few years, Matt is seeking increased rights now that he's clean and sober. As you might expect, Alex is less than thrilled that Matt suddenly wants in on the action after months of absent parenting, and she doesn't think he stands a chance in the courtroom.

Apparently, Matt's name isn't on Arabella's birth certificate, which could negatively impact his appeal for visitation and custody. The weird part? Matt claims his name was on the birth certificate, and that Alex removed it illegally!

"So I called Vital Statistics today and I got an appointment in Harrisburgh.. Guess whose name was illegally removed from their child's BC?" he tweeted on September 10, adding "It's all good. I'll be getting put back on and it makes her look terrible."

Matt claims he signed an acknowledgement of paternity at the hospital when Bellie was born, but Alex's side of the story is pretty different.

"Ask him did he sign papers in the hospital?" she posted to AskFM. "I can't give his name he actually has to sign for his name to be on it."

So, what does Alex have to say about Matt's claims that his name was illegally removed from the birth certificate?

"If I 'illegally' removed matt from the BC then he can get a copy of my petition to have it done right?" she tweeted. "Haha #lies."

Sigh, looks like we'll have to wait for Alex and Matt's upcoming court date for this issue to be resolved. In the meantime, can't we all just get along?!
